The True Cost of Fertilizer: A story for WWNO/WRKF’s podcast, Sea Change, (in collaboration with the Food and Environment Reporting Network) tracing the impacts of chemical fertilizer pollution from farms in the Midwest to the “Dead Zone” in the Gulf. In 2026, the episode won a regional Edward R. Murrow award and was a finalist for a James Beard award.
